Nikon’s latest DSLR camera shoots video in 1080p high definition, has in-camera special effects, and improves on the vari-angle screen of its predecessor, the D5000.
Jordi Brinkman, Product Manager for Nikon Europe, said: ‘The D5100 is a great camera that allows you to express your artistic side through impressive images and movies. You can shoot with creative effects and unique angles, all at the level of superior image quality seen in the D7000.’
The new vari-angle 7.5cm, 921k-dot, screen hinges on the left-hand side of the rear of the camera body, rather than at the bottom, meaning that won’t interfere with a tripod.
