Those are the kind of games that have proved hugely popular on the iPhone and the iPod touch, games which can be picked up during a break or over lunch.
Ray Maguire, managing director of Sony Computer Entertainment UK, believes that such games are ideally suited to the company’s PSP handheld.

Maguire’s remarks echo those of the head of Nintendo UK, David Yarnton, who said recently that, “Mobile phone gaming has been ‘going to happen’ for a long time. We’re still waiting.”
Meanwhile, many thousands of developers, many of whom will have far lower development costs than the Sony behemoth, continue to expand the huge selection of games for the Apple platform. Sony has a lot of catching up to do if it wants a slice of the snack market.
