Expo: iSale mobile adds eBay auctioning tools to the iPhone 8:27AM, Tuesday 6th January 2009
Equinux has updated its eBay auctioning tool with a free iPhone application that allows you to create drafts of auctions while away from your Mac.

The mobile application, iSale mobile, uses the iPhone's camera to take snaps of the items that you intend to sell, so you can browse through boxes of junk and keep a photographic record of things you might want to sell.

You can also create a draft of your auction on the iPhone and iSale mobile includes 222 auction templates and the ability to set the item's category, duration and starting price.

Auctions are transferred back to iSale 5.5 to post on eBay, which is a zero-configuration process as the mobile application looks for a running instance of iSale 5.5 on the same wireless network as itself. Drafts are sentback to the desktop with the press of a button.

iSale 5.5 is already available free of charge to owners of iSale 5, and it will be followed shortly by the release of iSale mobile on the App Store.
