Google adds iCal syncing to Calendar
11:26AM, Tuesday 2nd December 2008
Google has added support for the CalDAV standard to its online Calendar application, enabling users to sync calendars with the Leopard version of iCal.
Google provides instructions for enabling support for Google Calendar in iCal. Once the setup process is complete, your Google Calendar will now appear in iCal's list and iCal will sync any changes to and from Calendar.
Google calendars can also be synced with Mozilla’s cross-platfrom Sunbird application and Microsoft Outlook, as well as BlackBerrys and Android phones. There is also a customised version of Google Calendar for the iPhone and iPod touch.
