Oxbridge joins iTunes U 12:11PM, Tuesday 7th October 2008
Oxford and Cambridge University have joined iTunes U, Apple’s collection of free academic resources.

Oxford’s collection of podcasts and videos includes lectures and interviews with academics and researchers, as well as lecture by Steve Wozniak, making him the second Apple co-founder

to contribute: Steve Jobs’ commencement speech (and video) at Stanford University having been available for some time.

Other outside contributors include Michael Palin and Ian Hislop.

Cambridge has a similar mix of academics and experts discussing subjects across the range of disciplines studied at the university. There is also material for prospective students to help guide them through the application process.

The two Oxbridge universities follow University College London and the Open University, the first UK institutions to join iTunes U.
