O2 bags iPhone for Ireland 1:17PM, Thursday 28th February 2008
O2 has announced that it has snapped up the iPhone for Ireland.

The network operator, which also has the exclusive UK rights, will begin carrying the Apple smartphone on the other side of the Irish Sea from 14 March.

The handset will be on sale in O2 and Carphone Warehouse shops, at €399 or €499 for the 8GB or 16GB model respectively. Contracts will start at €45.
