KolorWheel, aimed at designers, gives you a quick fix on complimentary colour schemes, and avoids the kind of colour crimes that send eyeballs dizzy. It's like a pocketable, cut-down version of Adobe's online Kuler application for creative professionals, and costs $7.99 for an introductory period.
TipKalc, meanwhile, has a more universal appeal, as it lets you dial in the total of a restaurant bill using the scroll wheel, at which point it will automatically work out the appropriate tip for you. It will also split bills several ways for groups in which everyone is paying their own share. TipKalc costs $4.99 for an introductory period.
Both applications are compatible with all colour-screen iPods, including both generations of the nano.
