Small in stature compared with most of the other printers on test, the LaserJet 5100dtn still offers an overall paper input capacity of 850 sheets, all at A3 if you want. There is also a handy face-up output tray at the rear, providing a straight path through the machine for printing on to card. We had some difficulty getting the printer to recognise the paper sizes in each tray, despite their paper-size dial indicators.
