The Nexus 128 is the beefiest of the ATI cards on test in terms of specification and performance, and this showed through in most of our test results. It uses the same 128GL chipset as in the company's latest AGP-connected cards, and is fitted with 32Mb of video memory. This is an unusual amount of RAM to throw on a graphics card (at least on the Mac platform), which helps distinguish the Nexus 128 as a product intended for 3D designers working at very high resolutions on large monitors. The ATI Displays control panel shows a picture of the card itself, and clicking on certain hotspots calls up relevant controls. These aren't sophisticated, and you may as well forget about them.
