Apple launches iTunes Radio

by Kenny Hemphill on June 10, 2013

Apple has launched its long-expected radio app, iTunes Radio. Integrated with the iOS radio app, iTunes Radio allows you to create your own ‘radio stations’ based on music genres or favourite musicians.

Eddy Cue demonstrated a Led Zeppelin station which included Whole Lotta Love and music from the Rolling Stones. Stations can be customised.

iTunes Radio will be available in the Music app in iOS 7, in iTunes on Mac and PC, and on Apple TV.

It will be free with adverts or free without adverts for iTunes Match subscribers.
