Apple confirms October 23rd event where it will show a ‘little more’

by Kenny Hemphill on October 16, 2012

Apple has sent out invitations to an event on October 23rd in San Jose, California. As always, it hasn’t explained what it plans to launch, but has provided a clue in the invitation, which reads ‘We’ve got a little more to show you.’

It’s expected that the ‘little’ in that phrase refers to an iPad mini. According to reports, the event will focus on iBooks, because Apple sees the mini as an ideal eBook reader. Reports also suggest that there will be 24 different options for the iPad mini, 12 in black and 12 in white. That could further split to four different capacities, each available as Wifi only, 3G, or 4G LTE. The four storage capacities are expected to be 8GB; 16GB; 32GB; and 64GB.

Also expected to be announced next week are a 13in version of the Retina MacBook Pro and a re-designed iMac.

They should concentrate on getting Lion to work properly. My iMac has turned into a Windows machine, running slow, crashing and an iTunes that wont quit or let you restart without a using the off button.
