Apple announces iTunes Festival 2012 details and publishes app

by Kenny Hemphill on May 20, 2012

This year’s iTunes Festival will take place in September and be hosted, as usual, at the Roundhouse in Camden, London.

The headline acts for 2012 include Norah Jones, Jack White, Usher, Emili Sandé, and One Direction. More acts will be announced in due course. As in previous years, tickets will be allocated in a draw from the names of those who have applied on Apple’s website.

The iTunes Festival 2012 app is available for download from the App Store and, among other things, will allow you to stream concerts live from the venue to an iPhone or iPad. Last year, concerts could also be streamed to iTunes on a Mac.
