With only days to go until the start of this year’s iTunes Festival London, Apple has launched an iOS app which allows users to watch live footage from events. The app also supports Airplay so Apple TV owners can watch on an HDTV.
In addition to live footage, the app also provides on-demand video from previous gigs. There’s also information on artists appearing at the Festival, links to their iTunes Store pages, and photos from last year’s events.
The iTunes Festival London takes place at the Roundhouse in Camden and features acts such as Paul Simon, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, and Manic Street Preachers. So far, 62 acts have been confirmed and gigs are scheduled for every night throughout July.
Tickets are free, and applications can be made through the app and on the iTunes Festival website.
