Apple has doubled the size of its Cupertino, California HQ after it purchased nearby land from HP.
The Mac and iPhone maker paid an undisclosed amount for the 98 acres, which will provide more room for its ever-expanding number of employees.
‘We now occupy 57 buildings in Cupertino and our campus is bursting at the seams,” said spokesman Steve Dowling.
Apple recently began recruiting staff for the imminent Mac App Store, which in common with the iOS version, will impose rigorous rules that developers will have to meet before their apps are accepted.
