iPhone users who rely on the built-in alarm clock to wake them are likely to be late for work this morning — a consequence of a bug in iOS.
As Australians discovered at the beginning of October, iOS 4.1 fails to inform the alarm feature when it automatically put the clock back at the end of summer daylight saving.
The bug hit UK and European users this weekend and this morning Twitter is abuzz with, er, alarmed iPhone users.
Apple is aware of the problem, having promised a fix “in an upcoming software update” following the discovery of the bug three weeks ago.
