Apple roars: Back to the Mac

by Simon Aughton on October 13, 2010

Apple will give the first public preview of the next version of Mac OS X next week.

The company has sent out invitations to a “special event” at it’s Cupertino, California headquarters on 20 October. Headlined “Back to the Mac”, the invitations invite the media to “come see what’s new for the Mac”.

What’s new is Mac OS X 10.7 Lion — the first upgrade to the Mac operating system since 10.6 Snow Leopard was released in the summer of 2009.
