Apple opens Computer Reuse and Recycling Programme

by Simon Aughton on October 1, 2010

Apple is offering to take your old computer off your hands in return for cash.

The Computer Reuse and Recycling Programme will take any Mac or a PC desktop or laptop —  working or not — and assess whether it qualifies for reuse and has a monetary value. If so the amount will be credited directly into your bank account.

If it doesn’t, you can still recycle it through one of Apple’s free recycling programmes.
