Apple has released a new version of its Remote app for controlling iTunes from any iOS device.
The new version is the first with iPad support and the first to be optimised for iPhone 4’s Retina display.
It also provides compatibility with iTunes 10, shared iTunes libraries and the new Apple TV.
The app can control every aspect of the Apple TV interface, providing the option to use the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad keyboard to quickly tap out the title instead of clicking letters on the Apple TV screen.
Remote 2.0 is a free download.
