Apple has released an update to iTunes 10 that provides closer integration with its new Ping social network.
The update adds a Ping sidebar, where you can track the recent activity of a selected artist in your library, or of all artists and friends you follow. And you can now “like” or post about music from within your iTunes library.
Other changes in the update address issues with video picture quality, crashes when viewing album artwork, visualisers, unexpectedly empty playlists and shared libraries.
iTunes 10.0.1 is available via Software Update.
