O2 has changed cut the limits on the amount of data iPad users can download under two of their daily and monthly plans.
While the £10 plan is unchanged, allowing 1GB each month, the £15 plan has been reduced to 2GB from 3GB while the £2-a-day tariff now buys you 200MB, not 500MB.
O2 says that the previous rates were a promotion that ended on 30 September, though it made no mention of that in the original press release.
Anyone who has signed up to one of these tariffs can cancel it through the iPad up to 24 hours before the next payment is due.
Orange and Vodafone tariffs are currently unchanged: both are offering 3GB for £15, amongst other options.
O2 has yet to respond to a request for comment.
