DataViz: Documents To Go safe on iOS

by Simon Aughton on September 16, 2010

DataViz has moved to dispel talk that the future of Documents To Go as an iOS app is in jeopardy.

The company’s marketing boss, Wesley Hamnett, said that despite the recent deal with BalckBerry-maker Research in Motion, DataViz retains its independence and will soon be releasing several new versions of its software.

“While we did sell some of our assets to RIM, DataViz itself has not been acquired and is still very much in business,” Hamnett said.

Documents To Go allows iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users to read and edit Microsoft Word and Excel files and view PowerPoint presentations.
