Apple fixes Snow Leopard graphics glitches

by Simon Aughton on August 18, 2010

Apple has released a software update to address a handful of graphics-related problems in Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

The update fixes frame rate issues in two Valve games, Portal and Team Fortress 2, and a addresses a problem that could cause another game, StarCraft II, and Apple’s Aperture 3 to become unresponsive or crash.

It also resolves an image corruption issue that may occur when disconnecting and reconnecting external displays while the system is running.

Snow Leopard Graphics Update 1.0 is available via Software Update.
