Adobe puts Photoshop on iPad

by Simon Aughton on August 13, 2010

Adobe has released a new version of Photoshop Mobile, giving it a new name — Photoshop Express — and adding support for the iPad.

The update also has a new interface to go with performance improvements, but most of the changes are specific to the iPad.

These include: redesigned Online, Edit, and Upload workflows and Organizer view with simplified album sharing; the ability to work on multiple photos in sequence from within a single workflow; and the option to upload to Photoshop.com and Facebook simultaneously.

Adobe notes that some users have had difficulty launching the application on an iPad in landscape orientation and isIn the interim, you can work around the problem by launching the application in a portrait orientation.

Photoshop Express 1.3 is free from the App Store.
