Covent Garden Apple Store opens 7 August

by Simon Aughton on July 30, 2010

Apple’s newest UK store opens in London’s Covent Garden on Saturday 7 August.

The store is the largest and most expensive to date, occupying a Victorian building that, according to the planning application, has been extensively renovated while retaining most of the original architecture and features.

Apple will move into new offices on the top two floors of the building while the store below looks set to inherit the flagship mantle from the Regent Street outlet.

The store opens for the first time at 10am. For details of subsequent opening hours, directions to the shop and forthcoming events and to make appointments with the Genius Bar and other services, go to apple.com/uk/retail/coventgarden.
