Apple has asked US regulators to approve its design for a trackpad that can be used with dekstop computers and other devices such as the Apple TV.
While the filing describes an unnamed trackpad that requires a Bluetooth connection, it almost certainly relates to the so-called Magic Trackpad, known to have been in development for some months. Apple has asked the Federal Communications Commission not to disclose the submitted information, which includes diagrams and operating details,
