Apple has released an iTunes update to address a number of stability and performance problems.
Among the issues and areas addressed are: incompatible third-party plugins, which will be disabled; dragging and dropping; syncing with some devices; and upgrades to iOS4 on devices with encrypted backups.
iTunes 9.2.1 is available via Software Update.
Apple has also released an update to iBooks, the free iOS app for reading ebooks and PDFs. iBooks 1.1.1 [iTunes link] lets you doube-tap an image to view it at a larger size and view books that include audio and video. It also provides “substantial performance improvements” when reading PDFs.
