Google founder embarrassed by lack of Mac Chrome 8:35AM, Friday 5th September 2008
Google co-founder admitted that he is embarrassed by the lack of a Mac version of the company’s new Chrome web browser.

Mac user Sergey Brin made the confession after asking journalist Kara Swisher whether she had tried the software, only to be told that she hadn’t as there is no Mac version.

“I know, I know, it’s embarrassing,” says Brin.

Brin currently runs the browser on his Mac using virtualisation software and told Swisher that he asks every day when a native version will be ready.

“I hope it'll be a matter of months,” he said.

He is unlikely to be the only person at Google asking the same question — the search giant is Apple’s biggest customer.
