Apple to open Cambridge store

Apple has added Cambridge to the list of UK locations for its burgeoning retail business.
The company is currently advertising for staff to work at a store in the university city's Grand Arcade. It is also hiring in Brighton, Exeter, Milton Keynes and Reading.

Apple's twelfth UK store opens at the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex this weekend. The following weekend Apple will open its 200th store worldwide, in Gilbert, Arizona. The first, at Tysons Corner in Virginia opened in May 2001. The retail business is now worth around $1 billion per quarter.
