UPDATED: Apple unveils aluminium and glass iMac 7:39AM, Wednesday 8th August 2007
Apple has introduced a new aluminium and glass iMac. The range ships with a new, ultra-thin aluminium keyboard.

The range is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors running up to 2.8GHz with 4MB of shared L2 cache and up to 4GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory. Each model has either the ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB of GDDR3 memory and the ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB of GDDR3 memory. And internal hard drive storage now goes up to 1TB while the maximum memory is now 4GB.

AirPort Extreme 802.11n Wi-Fi networking is now standard, as are Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 2.0 ports (plus two on the keyboard) and one FireWire 400 and one FireWire 800 port. All models have a CD and (double-layer) DVD burning 8x SuperDrive.
